F-8 Crusader Simple 3D Printable Model

This was a fun little weekend project that was done a few days ago. It was modeled and printed on Saturday and then painted on Sunday.

It's a one-piece print and took my printer around 10 hours at 0.1mm layer height @40mm/s print speed. It's not at all perfect but it was a one-shot go at printing it so I'm happy with it.

There are things that are missing like the refueling pod thing on the pilot's left side and the missile rails on the fuselage but I wanted to make it simple and symmetrical for my personal preference.

I plan to do more of these little projects as it's a fun way to combine all my creative hobbies into a weekend task.
